Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on 6th June 2014 constituted an Expenditure Finance Committee under chairmanship of chief secretary of Delhi S.K. Srivastava.
The committee was constituted to clear projects of the Delhi govenment worth up to 100 crore rupees.
The seven member committee will look upon the sanctions of Expenditure on schemes-projects-capital work relating to construction of roads, flyovers, foot-over bridges, subways, school buildings, hospital buildings etc up to value of 100 crore rupees.
Other members of the committee include M.M. Kutty, Principal secretary Arun Baroka, Principal Secretary (PWD) b.k. Sharma, Director (Planning) and Deputy Secretary Finance (Infrastructure) apart from the principal secretary or secretary of the concerned department.
