Staff Selection Commission has issued a notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination for recruitment to the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) . Applicants can apply online on or before 19th August 2014 upto 5:00 pm . Other information are given below

Number of Vacancies : LDC : 991 & DEO :1006
Pay-Scale : Pay band 1 with Grade Pay of Rss. 1900 & Rs.2400
Age limit : 18 - 27 years as on 1st August 2014 . Candidates not born before 2nd August 1987 and not after 1st August 1996. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government law.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from recognized Board or University as on 1st August 2014.
Application Fee : Rs. 100/- should be pay by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) for offline mode and sbi net banking for online mode. Fee are exempted for all candidates from SC/ST/Women/Physically handicapped and Ex-Serviceman.
Mode of Selection : Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test on the basis of their performance in written examination.
How to Apply : Application must be submitted only in the prescribed format Online or by Post.
Instruction for Applying Online :
1. Candidates should scan their photograph and signature for uploading.
2. Log on to http://ssconline.nic.in/.
3. Click on ‘Examinations’.
4. Click on Part I Registration link which consists of personal details.
5. After filling up all marked details of Part I, click on ‘Continue’ button.
6. This will provide you preference for post,medium of skill, educational qualification and details of work experience.
6. After filling above, click on "continue" button
7. Enter the payment details in the appropriate place & Pay the Fee (if applicable).
8. If the candidate has opted for the fee remission in the PART-I Registration these payment option and pages will not be shown to him and he will be directed to the photograph & signature specimen uploading page.
9. To fill up Part II of Application, Registration Number and Date of Birth must be entered.
10. Fill all marked details in the application form, upload photo & signature.
11. After submission of all the details click on ‘Submit’ button and take the print of the hard copy of application form and retain it for future use.
